Me as an individual am nothing important but a simple and ordinary Buddhist monk. The most fortunate part of me is to be under the blessing of His Holiness Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. By the blessing, I have the opportunity to travel from Holy Land (Aryabhumi as referred to India) to Top of the World (Greenland).
Joining many leaders and water experts as eyewitnesses, we experience first hand how climate change has caused tremendous loss of the most precious glaciers which results in the world quickly becoming lack of pure water just not too long ago.
So please take a look at the following pictures taken at Big Ice which I share here and let’s wake up to be more aware of not creating further disasters to our environment. We should protect it as much as possible at individual level. Here we are hosted by local elders and their families and we vow to join hands with them, to stand together to preserve the precious water and make conscious use of each precious drop.
